Felicia C. (Kautzsch) Kingsley was born February 27, 1920 at Boulder, Colorado, the daughter of George Henry and Nellie D. (Hughes) Kautzsch. She died on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Brookview Manor in Brookings at the age of 87 years.


She received her education in Colorado and continued at Custer High School after she moved with her parents to South Dakota. After receiving her masters license in cosmetology she was united in marriage to Quentin S. Kingsley on October 24, 1940 in Chadron, Nebraska. After her marriage she was a homemaker.


Felicia was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, the VFW Auxiliary and the Antique Car Club. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, knitting, crocheting, fishing and hunting. Reading was a must upon retiring every evening.


She is survived by her husband Quentin of Brookings; one daughter, Bonnie Kingsley of Sioux City, IA; one son, Gary Q. Kingsley and his special friend Deby VanEidie of Badger, SD; five grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.


Felicia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.


Private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
